Oak Lion & Tun 18th Century

Powerful & expressive  oak lion ,  with its wide exaggerated grimacing expression and big curly mane . Its front detailed muscular paw resting on a coopered oak barrel (tun) fine anatomical
carved work to the rest of its body. This piece probably originating from an old public Inn or brewery.
