A rare 16th Century wood & leather bound Chalice case , possibly used for a portable
communion set by a priest? , with four clips either side when opened reveals a velvet interior
with a cut out platform to base , where a paten / plate would possibly fit under the chalice, Simple but somewhat faded embossed decoration each side of seam.
