Sun In Splendour 18th Century Folk Art Panels

A pair of unique Folk Art / Artpopulaire panels depicting "Sun In splendour" with 4 carved hearts
to each corner . The center of each sun carved with a very animated jovial looking  face , the panels  keeping almost all of their original polychrome, 24 individual deeply shaped carved rays excel outwards with heart shaped motifs carved within each corner. Wonderful early folk art.
