Interesting double sided oil painted on tin , one side depicting three souls in purgatory waiting for purification of their souls before they can go to heaven . The reverse side featuring St Lawrence
holding a griddle in his left hand ( the symbol / Instrument of execution) and a palm leaf in his right
hand the symbol of martyrdom. The scalloped shaped design with cross at the top with two painted clout nails at base ... possibly a procession piece lacking stem.
