Painted West Country Oak Boarded Box

 This very attractive 17th early 18th Century  bible box still showing its vibrant polychromed front
of typical West County ornamentation of  stylised  lunette  leafy foliage,   similar examples can be found in Oak Furniture V Chinnery. All original throughout.
