Medieval Stone Green Man 12th -13th Century

Green Man in Stone. 
     Early medieval Green man with anthropomorphic features oval shaped head, bulbous eyes
     wide flat nose his mouth open showing teeth while disgorging flowing vine from its mouth
     which scroll interlock & terminate into flowerheads ( almost like a celtic knot).Beautiful detail
     throughout.. the carved work strong & prounounced.. with hardly any loss.. superb condition.

     Medium Stone 
     Origins  France / England
     Early Gothic Period  12th / 13th Century.
    N.B Very Heavy Piece  10-15 kg
