English Leather Costrel 17th Century

English 17th Century Leather Costrel impressed dated 16?? last two numerals tricky to decipher possibly a 0 then a 3 or 8 ? The other side impressed again with a large cartouche of rosette style
roundels with 3 triangular heads on cross hatch tendrils 3 lots of smaller roundels above . Perfect condition with hardly if any loss to leather minus a few superficial markings, and possibly retaining 
 its original wooden stopper.
