A very rare piece of early kitchenalia , dated 1631 relief carved sycamore chopping board or sometimes known as a tobacco chopping board. Scrolled carved work to top with its orginal iron O ring for the board to be hung up when not in use . A central chopping blade which is pinned through the board,
the board itself with a wonderful dry original surface ( almost grey ) in colour,
