17th Century Italian marble tomb sculpture on a grand scale .
  This large scale fragment stands 51 cm high by 47cm.  Carved in high relief depicting a large
  skull, the head resting on a long lateral  bone with a group of other bones surrounding the skull
very graphic and life like with strong carving to detail and depth.This marble sculpture piece
     was most probably part of an interior facade tomb cover from a  monastery or church.
