A medieval  Enameled Portrait of the virgin, taken from Hans Memling`s Painting, Virgin enthroned with child circa 1480 by Limoges  master enameler  Camille Fauré. 1872-1944. The Memling painting
shows the virgin seated swathed in a red robe holding the child with her head slightly looking downwards towards him , with a rich golden tapestry backdrop which is almost identical to 
Camilles Limoges portrait. The portrait is signed lower left and old cert labels to the reverse. 
 Camille Fauré became Limoges most famous enamel  artists. France early C20th.
