Corpus Christi

 A deeply moving Corpus Christi polychromed wood , head forward slightly tilted to right, eyes looking downwards, strong definition of rib cage with wound to right abdomen, arms raised  just above horizontal showing contorted muscles in forearms , swathed in an unusual but very simple 
perizonium . Late 16th Century European   ( recently bought back .. sold 2015)
